sonnen’s received the award for transforming the decommissioned Holden plant in South Australia into an energy storage solutions manufacturing facility.

Installers in Australia gave sonnenBatterie top marks, awarding them the "Top Brand PV Storage".

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) listed sonnen as one of the “Top 50 Smartest Companies” worldwide. The institute especially awarded companies with a combination of innovative technologies and efficient business models.

Among 150 energy storages tested, our sonnenBatterie won the WirtschaftsWoche award. In the category “price-performance ratio” the solar energy storage of sonnen achieved the maximal number of points.

sonnen is one of the top 20 companies worldwide regarding its potential for developing future innovative energy storage systems.

Since 2006, the Huber Publisher of New Media honors the most impressive innovative industrial products and solutions with the Industry Award once a year.

The readers of elektrobörse smart house honoured the sonnenBatterie for being the product of the year in the category of regenerative energies.

sonnen is winner of the Global Cleantech 100 award in the region of Europe and Isreal. Thereby, the German company belongs to the most innovative and promising companies selected by 6.900 candidates worldwide.

sonnen won the StartGreen Award 2015. This award is provided by the Ministry for the Environment and honors the most innovative and successful founders of Green Economy in the categories climate protection and sustainability.

Every year, this award goes to the ten most innovative companies regarding renewable energies. sonnen has been the only German company to be honored with the Bloomberg New Energy Pioneers Award 2015.
